CSA FAQS

What are the benefits of joining a local CSA?
Joining a CSA is a great way to show your support for local farmers and to ensure your money is directly invested in the quality of food you receive. By paying for your farm share at the beginning of the season, you also help participating farmers to plan their crops more efficiently—and even may allow them to grow types of produce that would otherwise be cost-prohibitive. Over the course of 18 weeks—for less than you would pay out-of-pocket at the grocery store—you’ll receive premium, locally-grown produce and other artisan foods that provide bolder flavor and greater nutrient density than anything you’ll find at a mainstream market.

What are some of the products I can expect to see in my box?
While product availability will vary from week-to-week, over the course of the season, you can expect to see:

Eggplant
Tomatoes (Sliced + Cherry)
Bell peppers
Poblano peppers
Jalapenos
Shishitos
Pumpkins

Beans
Slicing Cucumbers
Pickling Cucumbers
Flowers
Okra
Basil
Dill

Cilantro
Parsley
Zucchini
Summer Squash
Celery
Cabbage
Kale
