Chef Michelle Rodriguez hosts a Traverse City dinner with NanBop Farm

Northern Michigan private chef Michelle Rodriguez hosted a dinner with NanBop Farm and 910 Media Group. About 40 people attended the event despite the high heat and were met with a four-course meal from the local chef. Rodriguez is the chef-owner of Amor Comida, which specializes in locally sourced catering and private events.

The dinner was put on in partnership with us here at NanBop Farm, where we provided most of the vegetables used in the dishes. Rodriguez used the meal to highlight produce from NanBop and other local farms, kicking off with a strawberry gazpacho.

β€œOn top there is extra heirloom tomatoes from Lakeview Farms. The base of the gazpacho is mostly Zenner Farms tomatoes, and then Lakeview Hills strawberry,” Rodriguez said.

The meal also included a grilled zucchini salad, roasted pork tenderloin and a goat cheese panna cotta.
